How I Work
Good design doesn’t start with a wireframe. It starts with a question: what’s actually going on here?
I research before I design. I want to know what’s true before I put anything on a screen. User conversations, audits, data — whatever gets me closest to reality. It protects every decision that comes after.
I think in systems, not screens. A page is never just a page. It lives inside a flow, a brand, a sprint. I design with all of it in mind — fewer surprises at handoff, work that actually ships.
I bring people along early. Alignment isn’t a meeting you schedule once. I share direction before it’s polished and ask questions before assumptions take over.
I stay calm when things get messy. Tight timelines, shifting requirements, competing priorities — I’ve been there. Calm thinking makes better decisions. Better decisions make better products.
I care if it worked. Beautiful design that doesn’t move the needle isn’t the goal. I build that question into how I work from day one.
